ISSalute is an innovative project carried out by the Italian National Institute of Health (from ISS -Higher Institute of Health, while ‘salute’ in Italian means health:

• diseases (disorders that cause them and causes that determine them) and available treatments.
• lifestyles, nutrition, environment

Furthermore, to limit the circulation of incorrect news (the so-called "hoaxes") and false myths on the subject of health, a special section collects over 150 misleading information accompanied by scientific explanations that highlight its groundlessness.

All published information is updated,, independent and certified and are written in simple language that everyone can understand.

All the contents published on ISSalute were created by an Editorial Committee, made up of researchers and technicians of the ISS, and were evaluated and approved by the Scientific Committee, made up of Senior investigators belonging to the Departments and Centers of the ISS, in collaboration with a Team of Experts.
